There may come a time when you want to use RDP to log into a Ubuntu box. For me this is because I currently work in a largely Windows environment so make heavy use of a great tool called Remote Desktop Connection Manager which keeps all my connections to remote machines together.
In Ubuntu it's fairly easy to allow RDP connections. Just install xrdp on your Ubuntu box by running the following command
sudo apt-get install xrdp
Simple as that, you should now be able to RDP into the Ubuntu box. Just bear in mind that when you're asked for credentials these will be the obviously be the credentials for your Ubuntu box rather than your Windows box. Fortunately this should be fairly obvious given the login prompt.
